School officials at Nathan Hale High School in Seattle say a student returning from a three-day suspension assaulted the principal in the cafeteria.
Parents learned of the Thursday morning attack in an automated call from school administrators. The call said staff quickly intervened, called 911 and the student was arrested.
The school said Principal Jill Hudson was not seriously hurt.
The call also said the student won’t be allowed to return.
