Seattle police quickly recover abducted child

Seattle police say they managed to recover an abducted 2 1/2-year-old child in less than half an hour.
Spokesman Jeff Kappel says officers responded Wednesday afternoon to a report that a woman had taken the child from Mary’s Place shelter after the child’s mother briefly turned away.
All three had been in the shelter’s common area with other adults and children.
Crisis intervention team officers found the woman and child about 28 minutes after police received the 911 call at . The child was unharmed.
Kappel says a 33-year-old woman was arrested for investigation of kidnapping.
