However, most of the credit should go to his 7-year-old daughter, Sloan, who directed the newly released video.

Macklemore films music video at Climate Pledge Arena during Kraken game

This isn’t the first time Macklemore has used the Emerald City as a backdrop. He basically shut down the Dick’s Drive-In on Capitol Hill a decade ago for his ‘White Walls’ video shoot.

Dick’s makes a return appearance in ‘No Bad Days’ (albeit with a thousand fewer people), and he even pulled his owner card by filming some of the music video at Climate Pledge Arena during a recent Seattle Kraken game.

You can watch the entire music video above (Warning: There is some explicit language). Dave Ross might not appreciate the scene about 1:37 into the video.

Macklemore’s new album ‘‘ is out now.

Hammond had been battling pancreatic cancer since 2020.

Mama Blue was a constant presence in the stands both at the Kingdome and what is now Lumen Field for over 45 years. Her trademark blue wig, sparkly glasses, feather boa and fake eyelashes made her the matriarch of Seahawks superfans.

Hammond and her husband were season ticket holders since the Seahawks inaugural season in 1976. She was later inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999 for her fandom.

The 12th Man: Mama Blue, the Grande Dame of the Seahawks superfans

Mama Blue was such a vital part of the 12s that she became the first fan to raise the 12 Flag before a game. The Seahawks also gifted her a Super Bowl ring following their triumph in 2014.

“I feel so blessed because, why me?,” Mama Blue told Xվ Newsradio’s Chris Sullivan before the Super Bowl in January 2014. “Except you know, I’m a little old lady, I make a lot of noise, and I love the Seahawks – so why not me?”

His brother, a Seattle resident, is claiming his death was foul play.

Wahl, 48, reportedly fell back in his seat in the media tribute at Lusail Iconic Stadium during extra time of the match, according to . Emergency workers responded quickly, but it was later revealed that Wahl had passed.

Suits: FIFA president defending World Cup in Qatar is ‘virtue signaling’

Before the United States Men’s National Team’s first match against Wales on Nov. 21, Wahl was detained outside the stadium for wearing a rainbow-themed t-shirt in support of LGBTQ rights. Same-sex relations are criminalized in Qatar, a conservative Muslim nation.

Wahl also wrote about the country’s , as hundreds of migrant workers reportedly lost their lives building infrastructure for the World Cup.

In an Instagram post, Wahl’s brother said that the death wasn’t a coincidence.

“My brother was healthy. He told me he received death threats,” said Eric Wahl. “I do not believe my brother just died. I believe he was killed, and I just beg for any help.”

Wahl was covering his eighth World Cup. He wrote on his website Monday that he had visited a medical clinic while in Qatar.

“My body finally broke down on me. Three weeks of little sleep, high stress, and lots of work can do that to you,” Wahl wrote. “What had been a cold over the last 10 days turned into something more severe on the night of the USA-Netherlands game, and I could feel my upper chest take on a new level of pressure and discomfort.”

Qatar says worker deaths for World Cup ‘between 400 and 500’

Wahl wrote that he tested negative for COVID-19 and sought treatment for his symptoms.

“I went into the medical clinic at the main media center today, and they said I probably have bronchitis. They gave me a course of antibiotics and some heavy-duty cough syrup, and I’m already feeling a bit better just a few hours later. But still: No bueno,” he wrote.

The Snohomish County Sheriff shared dramatic footage of the helicopter rescue on their Twitter page.

Around 9:00 p.m. Sunday, the Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue unit was notified of a missing single-engine aircraft with one pilot and one passenger on board. The plane left the Concrete airport around 2:00 p.m. and was expected to arrive in Snohomish that afternoon. The plane never arrived and was last seen by another pilot near Sedro Woolley, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

WSDOT Aviation Emergency Services flew a Cessna over the area Sunday evening attempting to locate a signal from the plane. Around midnight, WSDOT picked up a locator beacon signal near Lake Cavanaugh.

At 7:30 a.m. Monday, the Sheriff’s Office rescue helicopter, SnoHawk10, flew towards Lake Cavanaugh. Shortly after, WSDOT Aviation Emergency Services fixed wing located the plane crash site in a heavily wooded area.

The pilot and the passenger, 78-year-old and 79-year-old brothers, had walked nearly one mile along a creek bed that night, to a clearing in the woods.

Both men did not have any serious injuries as a result of the plane crash.

Someone paid $56,000 for their own Seattle parking spot /local/someone-paid-56000-for-their-own-seattle-parking-spot/3504324 Sun, 05 Jun 2022 14:32:31 +0000 /?p=3504324 $56,000 for a piece of real estate in Seattle sounds pretty affordable these days. But, as Xվ Newsradio’s Lisa Brooks reports, that price isn’t for a house or a condo.

, somebody shelled out $56,000 for a parking spot. Yes, you read that right, a parking spot.

Granted, it isn’t just any parking spot. It’s located in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, within walking distance to landmarks such as Pike Place Market, Seattle Center, and the Olympic Sculpture Park. The listing says it’s large and flat (Editor’s Note: We would hope so!) and easily fits a full-sized sedan, SUV or truck.

Plus, the savvy real estate agent who sold the 130-square-foot space at says high speed internet is available, just in case the owner wants to work out of their car.

Seattle to adjust paid street parking rates starting March 28

The average going rate for a parking spot near Pike Place Market is around $300 per month. If our math is right, it would take a little over 15 years (not including inflation) to pay that off.

Let’s just hope somebody doesn’t park in this person’s spot unannounced.
