Long-term eastbound I-90 lane closures begin Monday

A 2-year project to replace aging concrete along I-90 between Issaquah and North Bend begins Monday.
Construction crews will be working day and night along a 15-mile stretch of the freeway. The goal will be repave cracks and uneven pavements — some that have been there since the 1970s.
WSDOT said drivers can expect delays through work zones, where speed limits will be reduced to 55 miles per hour. There will also be one to two lane closures during the day and up to three lanes at night. Expect limited access to some on and of- ramps and work will be done on the shoulders of the freeway as well.
成人X站 7 talked to a Fall City resident who commutes daily to Kirkland. He said two years is a long time for the project to get done, but he does see a problem with the aging concrete.
鈥淚 try to avoid it,鈥� said A. Liengboonlertchai. 鈥淚f you don鈥檛 pay attention and you go over it, you may damage your car.鈥�
This $21 million project is just one of four happening between Issaquah and Ellensburg.
