The state hopes the rain that’s prevented crews from re-striping lanes along I-5 between Everett and Marysville will subside long enough to finish a months-long project.

If things go according to plan, the “SnoCo Squeeze” will be over before the Monday morning commute, 成人X站 Radio’s Chris Sullivan reports. That’s if the weather window stays open long enough, he says.

What slows you down each day?

The project has been marred by rain. Poor weather initially delayed the effort to replace 41 aging expansion joints because the state couldn鈥檛 re-stripe the lanes to create a construction zone.

The project began in March. Most of the work ended last week, but crews couldn’t return the lanes to their normal 12-foot width because of the rain.

Drivers should see the lanes between Everett and Marysville back to their normal width and the speed limit bumped back up to 60 mph on Monday.
