The Seahawks are at home in Seattle on Sunday Oct. 18, so expect traffic downtown before and after the game.
Kickoff for the Panthers game is at 1:05 p.m. All CenturyLink Field gates open at 11:00 a.m.
If you want to avoid the drive, public transportation is a good way to get around: take the bus, Link light rail, or carpool.
Washington State Ferries are expecting extra traffic. According to officials, “Sea/Brem/BI passengers can expect heavier than usual foot traffic on Sunday as the Seahawks take on Carolina. Passengers are encouraged to pre-purchase their return ferry tickets online or at a terminal kiosk.”
The good news, WSDOT says, “The continuing weekend closures of I-90 have been put on hold and won’t be happening this weekend, they’ll start again 11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23rd.”
Also on Sunday, a 200 foot Seahawks-themed barge will be floating off of Pier 66 before the big game.
