University District drivers in Seattle might see a few road closures slowing their commutes this week.
520 Bridge Closures
As we are getting ready to open the new SR 520 Bridge this weekend, the “longest floating bridge in the world,” some construction projects need to be completed overnight. That will affect the current SR 520 Bridge.
So just keep in mind that all lanes and ramps of westbound SR 520 will be closed each night between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday morning, April 1.
45th Street Viaduct
Seattle Department of Transportation will close one lane in each direction on the 45th Street Viaduct from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 31 for deck repairs.
