$1.4 million worth of Nintendo Switch 2 consoles stolen during trip from Redmond

Authorities are investigating the theft of more than 2,800 , valued at more than $1.4 million, according to 成人X站 Newsradio.

Police remain uncertain about when the truck, which left from Redmond, was hit, but a routine inspection at a truck stop in Bennett, Colorado, revealed that the consoles were missing.

On June 8, the driver stopped at the Love’s Truck Stop for a pre-trip check. That’s when he noticed the trailer was breached and several pallets of the consoles were missing, according to law enforcement. Each console is priced at $499, resulting in a total loss exceeding $1.4 million.

Authorities investigate $1.4 million Nintendo theft

The semi-truck was transporting the consoles from Nintendo鈥檚 facility in Redmond to a GameStop store in Grapevine, Texas. The driver said he was unaware of the exact contents of the trailer, knowing only that it contained games or toys.

Investigators are working to determine the precise location where the theft took place, as the truck made multiple stops before reaching Bennett.聽If found, the suspect(s) could face felony charges related to robbery exceeding $1 million, as well as criminal mischief.
