A man wanted by King County authorities wearing an ankle monitor was arrested Friday morning in Thurston County after a crash involving multiple vehicles and a building, police said.
Authorities used the 18-year-old suspect鈥檚 ankle monitor to track him to Tumwater. Around 8:45 a.m., officers found him asleep in a stolen GMC Denali in a parking lot off New Market Street, according to a post on Facebook.
When police attempted to wake him, he allegedly fled, crashing into two vehicles at Capital Boulevard and Tumwater Boulevard. One of those vehicles struck a building.

The driver of the car that hit the building was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in critical condition. Another driver sustained minor injuries. No one inside the building was hurt, and the suspect was not injured.
Police said the suspect is being processed for investigation of DUI. The Denali had been reported stolen in a carjacking in Tukwila last week. Authorities have not confirmed whether the suspect was involved in that incident.
