Ross: Lock up the fraudsters, or disbar the attorneys

election, fraudsters...

At yesterday’s Senate hearing on Election Security, attorneys for Donald Trump presented their evidence of election fraud. One of those attorneys, Jesse Binnall, alleged that more than 100,000 improper ballots were cast in Nevada alone.

Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma summarized the allegations: “42,000 people in Nevada voted more than once, according to your work in this. 1,500 people voted in Nevada that were dead. …”

He goes on and on; the total is 130,000 votes … and then he says to Trump’s attorney:

“In my state, when someone votes twice, [and we do have that occasionally, about 50 times a year,] we prosecute individuals that vote twice,” Lankford said. “Of these 130,000 instances that you have identified in the 2020 election in Nevada, do you know of any prosecutions for any voter fraud?

“Not yet, Senator,” Binnall replied, “and that’s extremely important.”

He’s right. And therefore, I think the Trump campaign, which has raised millions on this fraud issue should PAY the State of Nevada if necessary, to conduct a thorough investigation, find those 130,000 fraudsters and lock them up, and then Trump will have every reason to launch a comeback campaign.

But if it turns out that this was a fabrication, then there is every reason to disbar those attorneys who deliberately tried to undermine the basis of our democracy.

Let’s see what happens.
