Most of us in broadcasting have found ourselves in the middle of a live interview that we wish we could get out of.
But on NewsmaxTV yesterday, there was no easy escape for anchor Bob Sellers who was interviewing Mike Lindell about getting kicked off Twitter.
“They did this because I’m reviewing all the evidence of all the election fraud with these machines.”
Mike Lindell became famous as the MyPillow guy – helping Americans achieve their dreams. But lately he’s rebranded himself as the Libs worst nightmare.
Newsmax invites Mike Lindell, who advocated for a coup and spews dangerous conspiracy theories, on air. It didn't go well.

Lindell wanted tell the Newsmax audience about voting machines being programmed to change Trump votes to Biden votes. One problem: The companies that make those machines have filed a huge lawsuit against Newsmax for spreading that stuff. And the anchor could tell that the interview was going to end up as evidence.
“OK. Mike — Can I ask our producers, can we get out of here please?”
Beam me up! At which point anchor Bob Sellers walks off the set as Lindell keeps talking.
Genius move. Six million views and counting.
By the way, on the matter of Lindell being banned from Twitter – if you look at the terms and conditions on his own MyPillow website it says: “You agree that any User Content: will be accurate… will not cause injury to any person or entity [and] we reserve the right [to] in our sole discretion… (ii) alter, remove, or refuse to post … any User Content.”
Just like Twitter.
