This is literally a watershed moment.
We are on the cusp of what may go down as the most anticipated minor weather system in Seattle history.
More from Dave Ross: It’s a black and white world of smoke out there
A slight change in the wind patterns later today will bring us 鈥 with any luck 鈥 some rain.
“!”
Usually, we either joke about the rain or complain about it, but this time, we are desperate for it.
鈥溾︹赌
Well, this year, not since June鈥 we usually look forward to the dry summers, but this one has reminded us it can get too dry.
“. ‘Cause so badly I wanna go outside, everyone knows that a man ain鈥檛 supposed to cry, listen.鈥
鈥ut even big strong masculine men found themselves tearing up under the red sun. And it鈥檚 changed everything. Usually, when summer ends 鈥 there鈥檚 a sadness that starts right after Labor Day鈥
鈥.鈥
Yeah! Here comes the gloom. Rain was associated with depression and seasonal affective disorder.
How often have you wished summer would never end? How many of you now regret ever wishing that?
鈥.鈥
That鈥檚 what I鈥檓 hearing now 鈥 sure we may have complained about the old normal, but the new normal is way too much like California, and we have learned our lesson.
鈥.鈥
And yes we know it will make the roads slippery鈥 but we are going to be very careful, we are going to slow down, observe a safe following distance, and if something should go wrong.
鈥
Blame it on the rain
Blame it on the stars(that shine at night)
鈥揥HAT-ever you do
Don鈥檛 put the blame on you
Blame it on the rain, yeah, yeah
