Election Day changed a lot of things 鈥 and one of the biggest changes: plummeting ratings at Fox News.
When Fox News started reporting that had Trump lost, thousands of Trump supporters fled to TV, where the election remains undecided 鈥 and guests like Trump Attorney Lin Wood are confidently preparing for a second term:
“The evidence is mounting up every day,” Wood said. “I believe on January 20, President Trump is going to be sworn in as President of the United States and will serve for four more years. And America will be great for it.”
“I love it!,” said host Greg Kelly.
But then, Kelly asked Mr. Wood about the January runoff in Georgia 鈥 the election that will decide which party controls the Senate:
“It鈥檚 a runoff based on an unlawful and illegal election in Georgia. 鈥 Why in the world would you go off and vote in another rigged election?,” Wood responded.
I said to myself, did I just hear a pro-Trump lawyer tell the pro-Trump Newsmax audience NOT to vote in the Senate runoff?
Is he really trying to suppress his own voters?
“I鈥檓 gonna tell you right now, 鈥 I鈥檓 not going to vote in a rigged election,” he said. “If you start voting in one rigged re-election, you have turned over the power in this country to the highest bidder 鈥 [that can buy the election.] That鈥檚 not American.鈥
Now I understand why Democrats believe in Santa Claus.
