How to react to the president calling up Georgia and to find 11,780 votes?
want an emergency impeachment (I guess it聽is a little like that notorious Ukraine phone call). But in this case, Trump had to call 18 times before the Georgia people would pick up. Apparently being told, 鈥渢he president is on the line asking you to find missing votes鈥 sounds a little too much like a prank call.
Well, it turned out it was the actual president鈥 and he聽was making a prank call!
Even so, presidents can鈥檛 just call around to states ordering them to find the exact number of votes they need to win an election that happened two months ago.
It may seem shocking at first, but this all makes sense when you understand what we are witnessing here is not a transfer of power, but a textbook reality show season finale.
There was even a report in the British press that Trump plans to be in Scotland when his term ends like Ferdinand Marcos fleeing the Philippines. !
Anyway, it doesn鈥檛 matter, because in two weeks the Constitution takes over, and there鈥檚 nothing a president can do about that, except maybe to call James Madison. But once Madison saw the caller ID he probably wouldn鈥檛 pick up.
Also, it’s not easy to pick up a phone when you鈥檙e spinning as fast as he is right now.
