I鈥檓 trying to figure out how seriously to take these stories about how Trump supporters might react if Trump gets indicted.
The on Fox News Sunday:
“If there’s a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information after the Clinton debacle, which you presided over and did a hell of a good job, there’ll be riots in the streets,” Graham said.

Well, we don鈥檛 want that 鈥 so before Trump supporters go all Antifa on us, I say we just capitulate now to the demands of Trump supporters, who want Trump treated the same way Hillary Clinton was treated when she was accused of being 鈥済rossly negligent鈥 in her handling of classified information.
And that shouldn鈥檛 be hard to do, because when Lindsey Graham made that comment, he was with a man who knows all about how to treat Hillary Clinton.
He was with former South Carolina Representative Trey Gowdy, who is now a Fox News host.
It was Representative Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) who in 2015 presided over the Benghazi hearings 鈥 the investigation into the attack that killed our Ambassador to Libya.
At those hearings, Hillary Clinton testified under oath for 11 hours 鈥 mostly about the attack, but toward the end of the hearing, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Rep. Gowdy also asked her, publicly and under oath, about her emails.
They, of course, were not satisfied with her answers 鈥 and here鈥檚 how Trey Gowdy summed it up back then.
“There’s nothing to keep a future Secretary of State or President or their staff, from this exact same email scheme,” Gowdy said. “And my real fear is this is what the chairman touched upon this double-track justice system that is rightly or wrongly perceived in this country. That if you are a private in the army and you email yourself classified information, you will be kicked out, but if you are Hillary Clinton and you seek a promotion to Commander in Chief, you will not be.”
Well, Congressman, your warning has come true. We are again faced with a person seeking a promotion to Commander in Chief, who has done something that would have gotten a private kicked out of the army 鈥 the removal of thousands of secret documents from the White House.
So, before there鈥檚 a riot 鈥 please! Use your position at Fox to demand that Donald Trump be treated exactly the same as Hillary Clinton was.
That he appears before a congressional oversight committee, run by the opposing party, and that he testify under oath. For 11 hours, if he wants to. And if the evidence does not warrant prosecution, then just like Hillary, he should be free to run for president, and, just like Hillary, he should immediately accept the result of that election.
