A well-known political commentator is questioning Donald Trump’s decision to hold a rally in Washington right after holding one in Mississippi.

James Carville told Seattle’s Morning News that the decision is baffling.

“He was in Mississippi last week — a state he can’t lose. Now he’s in Washington — a state he can’t win,” Carville said. “That guy’s got the weirdest schedule I’ve ever seen.”

The decision is somewhat mystifying. Trump in Mississippi than any other state since mid-July. A poll by Magellan Strategies shows the Republican nominee leading Hillary Clinton by as much as 15 points.

鈥淲ho knows if it鈥檚 the right thing or the wrong thing,鈥� Trump added. 鈥淏ut as far as I鈥檓 concerned it鈥檚 the right thing to do because I have always loved the state.鈥�

Maybe he just wants to stop by to see his “many friends.”
