A face from Hollywood past will take a leading role Monday night at the Republican National Convention.
Scott Baio, who starred as Chachi on the classic TV show “Happy Days” and as the title character in “Charles in Charge,” will speak on the big stage in Cleveland. And ³ÉÈËXÕ¾ Radio’s Dave Ross wonders why.
“Does anybody understand?” Dave asked. “The only puzzling name on the agenda today to me was Scott Baio. I know who he is, but I can’t figure out what he has to do with making America safe again.”

The theme for the first day of the convention is: Make America Safe Again. Dave wonders if Baio moonlights as a cop.
It was ³ÉÈËXÕ¾ Radio’s Dori Monson who came up with an answer.
“As a cousin to Fonzie [on “Happy Days”], he was a law and order guy. Fonzie was peace through strength,” Dori explained. “And they couldn’t get Henry Winkler so they got Chachi and I think it’s a perfect message for making American great again. We’re harkening back to the 50s. It all fits together like hand in glove!”
Or maybe it has something to do with Baio’s praise of Trump.

The New York Post reports that Baio was at a fundraiser for Trump when he was asked to speak. Baio told Fox News it was “out of left field.”
