Sedrick T. Stevenson, a 28-year-old inmate wanted on multiple warrants from Kentucky, escaped custody at SeaTac Airport earlier this week. Stevenson boarded a light rail train heading north and was last seen getting off at the Capitol Hill station. He remains at large.

“The first thing I would do is check the jail records to see if anyone had visited him or if he made any phone calls,” Jordan said. “When someone escapes custody, especially in a situation like running from an airport while still in handcuffs, they can’t do it alone. They need help to stay hidden and avoid getting caught.
Jordan also noted that while finding a fugitive becomes significantly harder as time passes, there鈥檚 still a good chance Stevenson will be found.
鈥淭ime is on our side,鈥 he said. 鈥淭hey return to old habits, old places鈥攁nd there鈥檚 always someone willing to give them up. Sometimes it鈥檚 about money. Sometimes it鈥檚 just someone who doesn鈥檛 like them.鈥
As for what Stevenson might be thinking now?
鈥淗e鈥檚 running on adrenaline,鈥 Jordan said, adding that Stevenson is likely in survival mode, laying low and staying hidden.
