Instead of purchasing expensive diamonds, flowers, and other traditional gifts for Valentine’s Day, why not consider a few less traditional ideas.
The following are three cheap Valentine’s Day ideas from that could bring you and your loved one closer, without putting a hole in your wallet or purse.
– Start a private book club for two: Buy or borrow two of the same books and read together. Discuss what you read. Try a book from Gary Chapman’s “The 5 Love Languages” series.
– Stir up something new in the kitchen: Download, or copy, a new recipe. Try to make something with your significant other that is challenging. Don’t forget a $10 bottle of wine to pair the meal with. Be ready to do the dishes.
– Take your loved one to a special location: Blindfold your partner and drive to a beautiful spot to watch the stars and relax. Don’t forget to bring a snack.
