The New York Times that President Trump watches more television than most people with jobs have time for: at least four hours, and sometimes up to eight.
鈥淚f you want to get a message to him, literally, time for dinner, you better hope that 鈥楩ox & Friends鈥 says it. Because that apparently is where he gets most of his information or at least where he gets most of his emotional well-being every day,鈥 成人X站 Radio鈥檚 Mike Lewis said on “Tom and Curley.”
Trump鈥檚 television programs of choice include CNN, 鈥淔ox & Friends,鈥 and MSNBC鈥檚 鈥淢orning Joe.鈥 The shows are both a source of encouragement and a source of fuel for the day鈥檚 obligatory Twitter rants.
鈥淗e gets bummed out if he鈥檚 not on television, regardless of context. That to me was the most telling thing,鈥 Lewis said. 鈥淗e doesn鈥檛 even care whether it鈥檚 unflattering or flattering. When he鈥檚 not on it, he gets really unhappy.鈥
At first, it might be unclear how a person with a job, much less such an important job, has time to watch that much television.
鈥淭hey want him to get into the office and start working, the president to begin a little sooner, but he normally comes into the oval office between 9 and 9:30,鈥 成人X站 Radio’s John Curley said.
鈥淪ometimes in his pajamas,鈥 Lewis added.
President Trump the truth of the article. According to the New York Times, he said he doesn’t actually watch that much television 鈥渂ecause of documents.鈥
One thing most Americans probably can relate to is Trump鈥檚 desire to be king of the remote.
鈥淥nly the president can control the clicker. He鈥檚 got total control of it. He鈥檒l give it to you, but you have to ask for it,鈥 Curley said.
鈥淚 bet no one even picks it up. I bet even if he hands it to you, you probably just hand it back,鈥 Lewis replied.
鈥淐an鈥檛 take the power,鈥 said Curley.
