Imagine what Earth Day was like in the 1970s: Someone needed to plant a tree or throw a Molotov cocktail through a window in order to show they cared, 成人X站 Radio’s John Curley said.
Now, the national day might be fading away.
“It’s fading away by being the opposite of fading away,” 成人X站 Radio’s Tom Tangney said Wednesday morning. “There are huge rallies of 250,000 people gathering for Earth Day, but to what point?”
Earth Day is becoming another excuse for people to take the day off work, Tom pointed out.
“Do we celebrate our presidents on President’s Day?” Tom asked.
Since Earth Day’s inception, John said people have become more aware of the environmental impacts of their actions.
