KJ Wright’s return to Seahawks ‘a real team effort’

K.J. Wright will officially be back in Seattle on a new contract for the 2019 season, and stopped by 成人X站 Nights to talk about what was ultimately an easy decision for the star linebacker.

“It was a real team effort getting me back,” Wright told 成人X站 Radio’s Gee Scott and Aaron Mason Thursday evening.
A fourth-round pick by the Seahawks in 2011, Wright, 29, remains one of Seattle鈥檚 longest-tenured players. During that time, he has recorded two interceptions and 744 career tackles.
Now, he returns to Seattle for what he hopes will be the remainder of his already-storied career.
“These 8 years have been tremendous,” he said. “I鈥檓 so glad that I can end my career here, and ride off into the sunset with one team.”
Wright joins a Seahawks squad that has already retooled in the early days of free agency, adding the likes of kicker Jason Myers and offensive lineman Mike Iupati, and re-signing D.J. Fluker and Mychal Kendricks.
