“Ball-less soccer is very difficult, from my perspective, because I have to do a lot of imagining” – Olympia Wildcats Coach Keith Shultz
I know there is a narrative that kids today have it easy when it comes to competition. The old “everyone gets a trophy” line of thinking. Because of that, I am not surprised to see how many people fell for this video produced by the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.)
The comedy department of the CBC that is. Who knew they had one? It’s a parody video, and a very funny one.
It’s not real. It’s fake. Just wanted to clear that up before anyone shared it on there Facebook page as evidence that “kids today” are a bunch of wimps who can’t even handle the idea of a real ball.
Go Wildcats!
