Nov 20, 2014, 9:22 AM | Updated: 9:31 am

Police have arrested a teenager in the case of a home invasion robbery in Lakewood this week in which the homeowner shot one of three attackers.

Detectives arrested a 19-year-old on Wednesday that they believe is one of three people who forced their way into the home Tuesday night, attacking the homeowners and tying them up.

One homeowner was able to get free and retreated to a bedroom where he armed himself, according to police. When one of the robbers entered the bedroom, the homeowner fired two shots and the three men took off.

About an hour later, a body with a gunshot wound, was found dumped in a Federal Way parking lot, more than 20 miles away. Police believe he was one of the three home invaders.

The man arrested Wednesday night is being held on murder, assault, kidnapping and other charges. Police will not say how they tracked down the 19-year-old suspect.
