It has been 15 years since 7-year-old Kyron Horman vanished from Skyline Elementary School in Northwest Portland, and his family continues to seek answers.
To honor his memory and highlight the ongoing investigation, Horman鈥檚 loved ones held a candlelight vigil on Sunday, according to .听
The case has remained unresolved since June 4, 2010, when Horman was last seen attending a science fair at the school. His stepmother, Terri Horman, now known as Terri Vazquez, was the last known person to see him.
Despite the ongoing investigation, no one has ever been charged in connection with Horman鈥檚 disappearance, and the case remains active. In March, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office reaffirmed its commitment to solving the case, stating that investigators are working to digitize thousands of pieces of evidence gathered throughout the 15-year investigation.
Horman, who would now be 23, is still listed on the FBI鈥檚 missing persons list. A $50,000 reward remains available for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
