Tacoma home shooting injures 1

Possible gang activity is behind a Tacoma shooting over the weekend that sent a 44-year-old woman to the hospital.

Police say more than 40 bullets were fired into the home where she was hit.

Sergeant Darren Moss tells 成人X站 7 TV the shooting happened in the 1700 block of South 36th Street.

Tacoma police have not confirmed the motive behind Saturday鈥檚 shooting, or if it was related to a local gang.

The woman’s injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.

Alderwood Waste Facility creates a toxic workplace

Employees at the Alderwood Water and Wastewater District claim a toxic work environment and mismanagement are taking a toll on their mental and physical health.

The Everett Herald reports that employees have filed complaints against General Manager Dick McKinley, including one worker who claimed retaliation for her cooperation with past investigations against him.

A records request from the Herald shows more emails concerned with McKinley’s management.

McKinley, who has held the job for nearly two years, has declined to comment on the allegations.

His contract is set to expire in September.

Board President Paul McIntyre says the board “has investigated and will continue to investigate” misconduct claims.

“Levy to Move Seattle” keeps residents on sidewalks moving聽

Seattle’s Department of Transportation wants to spotlight its sidewalk safety repair program.

It’s part of the voter-approved “Levy to Move Seattle. ”

SDOT’s Elsa Tibbits says they have completed over 1000 sidewalk spot repairs this year, all within budget.

Tibbits says SDOT is on track to meet its “Levy to Move Seattle” goals.

“Levy to Move Seattle” was voted in by residents back in 2015.

Microsoft Earning report comes out today

Economic observers will be watching Microsoft’s earning report due this afternoon, Tuesday July 26.

Geekwire reports Wall Street is especially interested in the Azure cloud portion of Microsoft’s offerings.

Specifically, they’re hoping Azure’s growth is more than 40%.

That would be considered a good sign for the tech sector.

Other tech-related quarterly results coming this week include Amazon, Apple, and Google.
