The man accused of stabbing his ex-wife 72 times in her Bellevue home is returning from California to face a murder charge.
In a Los Angeles courtroom Weds., 46-year Alexander Polak, 46, signed an extradition waiver, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney. He’ll return voluntarily.
Investigators say Polak was questioned last week about the murder of 35-year old Nataliya Vabishchevich. She was found dead by co-workers. Within 24 hours of her death, Polak took a bus to California, where he was arrested and held without bail.
Polak will likely return to enter a plea within two weeks.
