Bus fire on I-405 snarls morning traffic

A bus fire is caused major delays on I-405 Wednesday morning.
A Sound Transit bus caught fire just before 7 a.m. on northbound I-405 at I-90, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
As of 7:20 a.m., the commute time between Renton and Bellevue was about 65 minutes; Federal Way to Bellevue was about 95 minutes.
The fire was extinguished quickly, but residual delays on the roads remained.
The fire is believed to have started in the engine compartment, KING 5 reports.
No injuries were reported. All passengers and the driver got off the bus safely, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Webb.
