Sheriffs office wants help identifying woman found in Snohomish River

Snohomish County detectives are hoping someone can help them identify a woman whose body was found in the Snohomish River. She was wearing this distinctive jewelry. (Snohomish County Sheriff's Office)

Snohomish County officials are seeking public help to identify a woman whose body was discovered in the Snohomish River last weekend.

The woman’s body was found in the river on June 26 near 14110 block of Shorts School Road. Detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office say the woman is Caucasian, and there is no evidence of foul play or trauma at this time.

The woman was wearing some jewelry that detectives feel is distinctive enough that someone could recognize them.

Anyone with information is asked to call the 聽at 425-388-3845.
