Man shot, killed in attempted carjacking in SoDo neighborhood

A man was shot and killed after an attempted carjacking in SoDo late Friday night, according to Seattle police.

Two men shot Saturday in Seattle

Officers found a man with a single suspected gunshot wound when they arrived to the scene in the 2400 block of 4th Avenue South around 11:30 p.m. They immediately began first aid. Seattle Fire Department medics declared the man dead at the scene.

Detectives interviewed a second person involved to help determine what led up to the shooting. They are not searching for any additional suspects at this time.

Seattle police say officers with the Crime Scene Investigations Unit collected evidence and are scouring the area for any possible surveillance video.
