Convicted felon involved in accidental shooting in Everett now wanted

A convicted felon who police say accidentally shot a woman in south Everett is now wanted for having a gun in the first place.
Snohomish County Sheriff鈥檚 detectives are looking for 26-year-old Corey Myers for his involvement in last month’s shooting in South Everett.
Sheriff’s spokesman Shari Ireton says they believe the woman was accidentally shot when Myers dropped a backpack with a gun inside and it discharged.
Ireton says Myers is now wanted for unlawful possession of a firearm.
The woman who was shot is still hospitalized, but is expected to recover.
