One person is in custody after a chase on I-90 in Bellevue Monday morning.
State troopers tried to stop a pickup truck for speeding and unsafe lane changes on westbound I-405 near I-90, but the driver sped off onto I-90 and continued east.
The suspect swerved off the freeway and onto West Lake Sammamish Parkway before returning back to westbound I-90.
Troopers were able to surround and stop the fleeing vehicle at Eastgate. Two patrol cars were damaged in the chase.
Three lanes of westbound I-90 were closed for about an hour for the investigation. All lanes and the ramp from West Lake Sammamish have been reopened.
Troopers suspect narcotics may have played a roll in the incident.
