FBI agents seize, operate child porn website

FBI agents took the unusual step of briefly operating an Internet child porn service, hoping to track down its customers.

Agents in Nebraska seized the bulletin board last year and then ran the site between Nov. 16 and Dec. 2 in hopes of identifying some of its more than 5,000 customers.

The investigation is ongoing and it’s not clear if anybody has been arrested or charged, but at least one home in Western Washington was searched and computers seized.
