Four dead in crash identified as Stanwood family

Four people killed in a car crash in Grant County, Wash. Sunday were from the same family.

A car and an SUV crashed at an intersection two miles east of George, Wash. sending the SUV into a canal. It was carried 100 yards and then sank, according to the Wenatchee World.

Dead at the scene were a man and a woman in their 30s. Their two daughters died later at a hospital. The victims are identified as Dioselina Buenrostro, 33 and Gabriel Ochoa, 35, Sandra Ochoa, 9, and Yesenia Ochoa, 4.

The family was from Stanwood, Wash., according to the Grant County Coroner.

It’s not clear which driver was at fault in the crash. The driver of the passenger car was not seriously hurt.
