A block of Ballard was closed due to a gas leak on NW 64th Street Wednesday afternoon.

The Seattle Fire Department reports 64th was closed between .

Residents were allowed back into their homes shortly before 12:30 p.m.

The leak occurred after a water crew struck a gas line.

Nobody was injured.
