Western Washington drivers should expect quite a bit of snow in mountain passes Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow that will last from 4 p.m. Tuesday through 4 a.m. Wednesday.
Current conditions for Western Washington
Accumulation on the Stevens and Snoqualmie passes could be as much as 11 inches, the Weather Service reports.
Snowfall rates will be as high as 1 inch an hour overnight.
The snow level will generally be between 3,000-4,000 feet.
Snow could change to freezing rain at Snoqualmie Pass early Wednesday.
