Comedian Micah “Katt” Williams failed to show up in a Seattle courtroom Friday afternoon.
Williams was scheduled to face a Seattle Municipal Court judge on a charge of harassment for a confrontation at a restaurant in December.
Williams has failed to show up for court in the past. An arrest warrant was issued in December when Williams failed to appear in in municipal court on two assault charges linked to a fight at the same Seattle restaurant on the same weekend.
The L.A.-based comedian has been in trouble since his trip to Seattle, getting arrested in Los Angeles in January. He was picked up on a warrant out of Sacramento for felony reckless evasion charges based on a car chase in November. Again, he was a no show in court in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The Los Angeles Times reports a judge issued a $200,000 arrest warrant.
The Seattle City Attorney claims Williams has been arrested 15 times in the last year.
After his arrest in Seattle in December, Williams told a local TV station he was retiring from stand-up comedy.
