Kent bus shooting leaves 1 person dead

A shooting on a Metro Transit bus in Kent Friday afternoon left one person dead.
The (KPD) said a 29-year-old man died after an altercation with another passenger as the 161 bus was traveling Central Avenue in the downtown business district around 1 p.m.
“There has been a weapon discharge on one of our buses,” Al Sanders, a metro spokesperson, told 成人X站 Newsradio.
Witnesses say the injured man got off the bus near Gowe street, then collapsed.
KPD said in a statement found on its , and pages that its officers and fire personnel “proceeded with lifesaving efforts” but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Soon after, KPD located a 35-year-old man with minor injuries claiming to have been assaulted by the deceased, the statement said. Initial reports indicate that prior to being shot, the deceased male got onto the bus and engaged in an altercation with the 35 year-old male.聽 From there, it is believed, the 35 year-old male shot the deceased once during the fight.

KPD said the 35-year-old man suspected of causing the other man’s death is cooperating.
Investigators are trying to piece together what led to the shooting.
