Man accused of dismembering woman, dumping body parts in Seattle pleads not guilty

The man accused of murdering a Renton mother of three pleaded not guilty Wednesday morning.
John Charlton, 37, was charged with the murder of 40-year-old Ingrid Lyne. Police say he killed her April 8 and dismembered her body after going on a date with her to a Seattle Mariners game.
Charlton was arraigned in King County Superior Court. His next hearing is scheduled for May 11.
Lyne’s remains were found in a recycling bin the next day in the Central District. Other remains were found on on April 15 and April 18.
Charlton is also charged with theft of a motor vehicle for allegedly taking Lyne鈥檚 vehicle.
