Friday UPDATE: With the help from tips, deputies say they’ve identified the suspect.

King County and SeaTac law enforcement are searching for a man who pulled a gun on a woman after accusing Muslims of being violent.

On Thursday, SeaTac detectives released photographs and video of the suspect involved in what they describe as a hate crime, which occurred March 1 at a 7-Eleven at .

Police said the man began talking to the woman as she was waiting for someone in the store, according to police. The man began flirting with her.

The suspect’s demeanor changed and he began accusing Muslims of being violent. Police said he then pulled a pistol out of his pocket and showed it to her.

The suspect eventually left when the woman refused to open her door.

The man is described as white, 30 to 45 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches, 200 pounds, chubby, with brown or graying hair. He was driving a dark blue or black 1997 GMC Jimmy.
