Over the weekend, Lynch retweeted the following tweet:

Several reports, , said Friday the Raiders were strongly considering luring Beast Mode out of retirement.

Lynch is from Oakland and has said in the past he’d like to play for his home team. with a tweet showing a picture of cleats over a phone wire with a peace out emoji.

On Sunday, Raiders punter Marquette King tweeted that he recovered Lynch’s cleats:

A lot would have to happen before the Raiders could acquire the star running back, starting with his reinstatement by the NFL. And he still has two years left on his contract with the Seahawks, so they’d have to release him or make a trade.
