A Marysville teacher and an aide have been removed from their classroom, accused of putting a special needs student in a closet.
A parent complained that her second grade daughter at Marshall Elementary was given a time out and placed in a ‘cool down room.” She tellsshe believes her child was shoved or dragged into a closet.
The adoptive mother says her daughter suffers from attention deficit disorder and fetal alcohol syndrome.
The two employees are on paid leave during an independent investigation that the district says could last the rest of the school year.
A district spokesman says punishment for the school employees could be serious or limited to additional training.
