A girl on her way to middle school was reportedly groped in West Seattle Thursday morning.

School officials called police at about 11 a.m. after the student reported a man in his mid-20s followed her off a bus near and grabbed her from behind.

The man reportedly boarded a bus in the West Seattle Junction after the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male with short dreadlocks. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black jeans, according to police.

The reported groping follows a Tuesday night meeting hosted by Seattle youth. The meeting focused on youth violence and other criminal activity.
