Authorities are investigating an officer-involved Kent shooting that has left a man in critical condition.

Police were serving a search warrant on Wednesday afternoon to a home in the 400 block of Jason Avenue North just after 3 p.m. The warrant involved a previous suspicious death investigation. The suspect named in the warrant had a gun when police contacted him.
“Three detective were serving a search warrant a little after 3 o’clock. They came to the door and a 38-year-old white man answered the door and had a hand gun,” 成人X站 7’s Henry Rosoff said. “The sequence of events that happened next is what is under investigation.”
“Neighbors report hearing 4-5 shots,” he said. “Police say those detectives opened fire and shot the man.”
The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. No officers were injured in the incident.
“We don’t know much about the warrant they were there to serve,” Rosoff said. “We know it was related to a suspicious death investigation in August.”
Rosoff reports the warrant was to search the property, and wasn’t for a specific person.
“So this man who ended up shot was not the target of the warrant, he was at the house they were searching,” Rosoff said.
