While it may have been a joke, Google searches throughout the day moved from voting-related questions to immigrating to Canada. Two hours before polls closed on the West Coast, people were searching for “Canada immigration.” So much so that crashed.

The website was up and running again early Wednesday morning, albeit fairly slow.
