The people of Oso are thinking long-term as they collect donations for landslide victims.
You might have heard that the area doesn’t need any more donations of supplies and clothing right now.
At the , at the fire hall and at the volunteers are collecting donations for the difficult weeks ahead.
“We don’t want to turn any donations away. We don’t know what the scope of everyone’s needs are,” said Restaurant GM Bonnie Rose.
She said they’ll catalog the donations so they’re ready for distribution when they’re needed. She knows the recovery and the need will continue for a long time.
Rose is also planning a Saturday, April 5 in Oso, with live music.
