Port of Seattle C.E.O. Tay Yoshitani announced at the first commission meeting of the year Tuesday that he is retiring when his contract expires in June.

Yoshitani, 67, has been the top executive at the port for almost seven and a half years.

Yoshitani makes $367,000.

The Port of Seattle runs both Sea-Tac Airport and the seaport and port operations support an estimated 200,000 jobs.
