The wife of a Puyallup lacrosse coach, considered the “team mom,” has been charged with the rape of one of the team’s players.
The boy told investigators that was just 10 when Su Dillon kissed him for the first time. And when he was 11, investigators say she brought the boy home to have sex with him. She continued to engage in sexual behavior with the boy between 2014 and 2015.
Dillon has been charged with four counts of first degree rape of a child in Pierce County.

The encounters between Dillon and the boy allegedly continued through team trips to San Diego, at his home, and her home.
The victim’s mother recently sent him to live with his father in Virginia. The boy’s mother told detectives she wanted a change for her son because he’d been acting out, cutting himself, and missing school.
The year-long abuse eventually came out during counseling sessions the boy was attending. The boy told investigators that he kept the encounters private because he聽“thought it was cool and did not realize it was wrong,” according to charging documents. Documents also state that after Dillon first kissed the boy, she told him that they needed to keep their relationship private because she wanted it to continue and become more serious.
Dillon first denied the allegations, then she told investigators that the boy expressed interest in her and tried to kiss her, but she stopped it. Eventually, she changed her story and confessed to the allegations, according to charging documents. She denied being the “team mom.” She told investigators that there were problems in her marriage and that the boy made her feel good, and that she should have known better as an adult.
Dillon denied any sexual relationship with other boys on the lacrosse team. She is scheduled for court appearances later this month.
