3 killed in Renton shooting, no suspects arrested

Three people were killed in a shooting in a Renton neighborhood, the Renton Police Department confirmed.
The shooting occurred at approximately 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Kirkland Avenue N.E. and N.E. 18th Street.
Officers are investigating a shooting with multiple victims near Kirkland Ave NE and NE 18th St that occurred just after 7:30 pm. This is an active scene, so expect a heavy police presence. Please avoid the area. PIO is en route.

No suspects have been taken into custody, as of this reporting, nor has the cause of the shooting been revealed. Detectives on the scene believe the suspect knew the victims.
Multiple K-9 units were deployed in the area, according to , alongside several law enforcement agencies beyond the Renton Police Department.
Neighbors told ³ÉÈËXÕ¾ 7 that police are mostly investigating a senior living home within the neighborhood.
The Renton Police Department is continuing to investigate the shooting.
Officers are asking the public to avoid the intersection, as a heavy police presence is expected to be present for multiple hours.
