Sea-Tac Airport opened 14 brand new ticket counters Friday in anticipation of growing demand for international travel.
The full-service ticket counters, near the south end of the main terminal, should help the airport meet future needs for international traffic, which has increased 121 percent in the last ten years, according to the Port of Seattle.
The new ticket area will include both staffed and self-service kiosks.
All Nippon Airways is the first airline to use the new space.
In addition, the airport will make permanent ten temporary tickets counters that became available when United Airlines moved to the south end of the airport.
